About The Fund
Vision Capital Venture is a private, closed end British Virgin Island registered investment fund, under a business company structure.
The BVI investment funds industry is regulated by the Investment Business Division of the Financial Services Commission (the ‘FSC’). The industry is primarily governed by the Securities and Investment Business Act 2010 (the ‘Act’). Under Part III of the Act, and the Mutual Funds Regulations (2010), regulated funds are categorized as either private funds, professional funds, or public funds.
Meets the requirements of Securities and Exchange Commission adopted amendments to the custody rule for investment adviser client funds or securities, rule 206(4)-2 under the Investment Adviser Act of 1940.
A private fund is restricted to either having no more than 50 investors, or only issuing invitations to subscribe for or purchase fund interests on a private basis.
The fund will target quantitative directional opportunities in highly liquid instruments, including ETF’s, indexes, specific currencies, currency and commodity-based options contracts, with only moderate leverage, minimal margin, and, naturally, a strict set of risk/reward strategies and tactics to sacrifice some upside potential in exchange for reduction of downside risk.
